Well Johnny16mm,you're probably gonna need 16mm or better when Chance reads what you've written about him!!!
When you're a filmmaker what's more important? The written word or sound and vision?
You arrogant fuck. You'll go far.

I gotta agree with Johnny16mm...
I wouldn't want to read any of Chance's scripts if his writing is a sloppy as his message-board posts!
sounds & visions are what it's really all about... but for fuck sake surely people should learn how to read and write... and make sure that they get their message across properly! (instead of just pure ranting)
miker, I've tended to agree with most of your posts of this message board, but re-read your last post... who sounds like the arrogant fuck now?
eXperimental short films... Noah should make his "adam-n-eve" short... will it be good? probably not! would I watch it? probably not!
So why should he do it?
"Experimental" - to try something new?
is this a personal rant towards chance/miker? probably... but just because you've made a few movies... it don't make you guys the "judge"... respect!

Chance, please check your spelling before you press send. It makes it easier for the rest of us to read your (quite good) posts.
As for "experimental/arty" films: a lot of them are scratchpads for aspiring filmmakers where they experiment with new techniques et al. Passing these films around is as sad as digging out every single speck of paper Picasso ever put something down just because it's a "Picasso" imho.

what ????? que ? i dont give a t*ss or not if you are going to read my script or not, much prefer you to watch the film.
about illiteracy, wasnt it mark twaine who said bad spelling was a sign of creativity ?
and in my own words, if the queen can her own english so can i
film is about sound vision more than the written word, you dont go to wach a movie to see some words scroll down the screen for an hour and a hald duh!
and who am i judge ? what the hell you going on about ? speak up boy!
Chance
who if he had more time at the mo would be strangling johnny 16 and vertinos.

Hey, I was always lead to believe that it was common internet etiquette not to pull anybody up about their spelling, especially when it is quite obvious what the person is trying to say!
Still i suppose it's any excuse to have a dig at Chance since this country seems to have an affinity with bringing down anyone that looks like they may actually rise about the loser attitude that the british love.

Hmmmmm.... are you people really intelligent film makers or just a bunch of bored children desperate to take the piss out of each other with trivial shit.
Does it matter if someone spells things wrong. It's not hard to see what they meant to write ... jesus.
